Robert Alexander Hooton Jr. age 65 of Davison, Michigan formally of Hazel Park, Michigan and Muskegon, Michigan (from 2001-2018) passed away on May 6, 2022 at Ascension Genesys Hospital, Grand Blanc, Michigan. He was born on July 27, 1956 in Highland Park, Michigan.
Beloved Husband of Lena Hooton for 46 years. Dear Father of Robert Alexander Hooton III (Lindsey) and Melissa Lynn Hooton Beverlin (Travis). Dear Brother of Deborah Kay Hooton Kaighen (Keith) and Anthony David Hooton (Chris). Dear Grandfather of Robert Alexander Hooton IV, Noah Daniel Joseph Hooton, Blake Norton Beverlin, and Tegan Murlin Beverlin.
He is predeceased by his parents Robert Alexander Hooton Sr. and Mary Josephine Hooton.
Robert attended Hazel Park High School and played football from 10th through 12th grade and received the cracked helmet award. Robert also enjoyed hunting and fishing throughout his life and also enjoyed wood working.
Robert worked at the Tank Plant Arsenal in Warren, Michigan from 1977-1989 as a welder and he also worked in Saudi Arabia from 1989-1991. Roberts last place of work was at L-3 Communications in Muskegon, Michigan from 2001-2018 as a Manufacturing Engineer, then there after retiring.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 21st from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm with the Memorial Funeral Service at 5:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan.
