Robert Joseph DuBois, age 88 of Rochester Hills, Michigan and formerly of Troy, Michigan and Royal Oak, Michigan passed away on March 22, 2017. He was born on September 3, 1928 in Lincoln Park, Michigan to Hazen and Bertha DuBois.
Loving Husband of the late Joanne Marie DuBois. Pre-deceased by his son Bobby. Dear Father of Diane (the late Ken) Dorie, David (Nancy), Gary (Genny), and Lisa (Dean) Payton. Grandfather of Jonathan, Brianna (B.J.), Christopher (Tara), Elizabeth (Brandon), Kristina (Arin), Kendall (Mike), Julie (Zach), Laura (Josh), Andrew (Cora), Parks, Justine, Bryan, Denise, Sharon, Sean, Brittin, Isabelle, Bryan (Denise) and Sharon (Sean). Great-Grandfather of Micaelan, William, Alyssa, Logan, Ethan, Elliott, Asher, Rowan, Alissa, Deven, Kahla, Jessica, Nicole, Eli, Adelyn, Noah and Teagan. Great-Great-Grandfather of Adriana, Harley, Elliott, Ethan and Cameron. Cousin of Joe and Caroline. Several nieces and nephews as well as great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 24th from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with Sharing of Memories at 7:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home Madison Heights, 31145 John R, (1 block North of 13 Mile Road, West side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Funeral to be held on Saturday, March 25th beginning with Instate at 10:00 am and the Funeral Mass at 10:30 am at Christ, Our Light Catholic Church, 3077 Glouchester, Troy, Michigan. Burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, Michigan with Military Honors performed by the U. S. Navy.
Memorials may be made in his name to John D. Dingell VA Medical Center.
