Robert Wendell Dennis' Obituary
Robert W. Dennis, age 77, of Hawks, MI passed away April 10, 2014. He was born August 2, 1936 to the late Herb and Ruby Dennis.
Beloved husband of Gail. Dear step father of Deborah Ellis of Florida, Robert D. Final of Romeo and David (Keely) Final of Florida. Loving brother of Jim (Nancy) Dennis and Judy Cormendy. Grandfather of 7 and Great Grandfather of 8. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Robert is predeceased by his brother Herb Jr., sisters Mary McDonald, Ethelyn Richards, Dorothy Godard and Carol O'Halleron.
Robert retired from GM after 30 years. He was a life member of the Wayne AmVets Post 171 and member of the Wayne Masonic Lodge. Robert served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1956.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 13, 2014 from 3pm to 9pm (6:30 pm Masonic Service, 7:00 pm Army Military Honors) at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R, Madison Heights, MI 48071.
