Andrea Sinift
I am Richard's granddaughter Andrea..Judy's daughter... I lived with my grandparents for many years growing up. I always thought they were invincible. Grandpa always in his "room" I used to sit with grandpa in his room reading stories, listening to songs. He would record me and laugh. We would sit for hours and we would talk. He was a gentle man with a soft smile. He loved to cook and take his time to enjoy his food, he loved peanuts and handing out (samples) of each kind. He liked his spaghetti a little soupy:). He would take hours to prepare his meals. I called him pop pop:) He liked politics and opera music, he used to blast them both on the t.v. or his radio when grandma would go on vacation...he always loved his beer and always have a (twenty) if his loved ones needed some extra cash. He truly loved us all and showed it in his way..I know he loved me and my girls..his wife, and all five of his children. I wish I would have have stood up and said this at his service, but I am saying it now, in my own time, in my own way..like he always did..lol. I love you pop pop, you are everything a grandpa should be. I clipped some hair so I can have a piece of you with me, until I see you again..we will laugh together again. I love you and I promise we will take care of your Mary (grandma). good bye for now, not forever...your granddaughter Andrea.
