RICHARD V. MESSER, JR., age 57 of Warren, died January 9, 2010, at his home in Warren. He was born June 18, 1952, in Hazel Park. Surviving are his wife of 30 years Cheryl; his children Erin Messer, Richard Messer III and Brandon Messer; his grandson Jayden; and his sister Sharron (David) Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard Sr. and Helen Messer. A memorial service will take place at the Kensington Community Church, 1825 E. Square Lake Road, Troy, on Friday January 22, 2010, with memorial visitation starting at 10 am followed by a 10:30 am service.
