I am so sorry to hear about Mr. King's passing. I have so many fond memories of hanging out at the King house with the family. Mr. King was a very funny and friendly person and always made me laugh.

Just over three years ago I knew Richard & Chris enough to say hi and even then I still called them Mr & Mrs King. It wasn't until I started walking and playing with my dog in "the woods" that I found that they were warm and inviting people. Spring, summer, fall and winter we would stand at the back fence and talk about our dogs. Unless it was too cold, then we'd sit in the garage with the heat.
Oh how I wish that I had gotten to know these amazing friends and neighbors years ago. All of those days and evenings spent talking to Richard (Chris,too when she was home) left some very sweet memories that will be with me forever.

Uncle "grandpa" Richard was truly an amazing person! We treasure all of the time we spent with him whether up north, at a family function or holiday gathering. He was so sweet to everyone he met and always had a story to share. We are all better people for knowing him and sharing in his life. You will be missed but we will carry the wonderful memories of you with us forever.
