Richard William Hughes, age 75, of Madison Heights, passed away March 6, 2011. He was born March 29, 1935 in Detroit to Lloyd and Hazel Hughes. Beloved husband of Shirley Louise for 47 years. Loving father of Richard Arthur (Kim) Hughes, Jennifer Irene (Jim) Coeling, Rhonda Louise (Justin) Nagle, and Brandi Lynn Duncan. He is also survived by his foster children Don, Susan, Elizabeth, Grandchildren Joey, Cassidy, Erica, Dylan, Emily, Brianna, Chelsea, Caleb, Emma, and Kylie, brother David, and sisters Margie and Beverly. Richard was predeceased by his foster daughter Peggy. Visitation Wednesday 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with the funeral Thursday at 11:00 am, at the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights. Burial in Parkview Cemetery, Livonia.
