Richard J. Garant, 74, of Sterling Heights passed away on February 28, 2011. He was born May 22, 1936 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Beloved husband of Donna Joy. Loving father of Craig (Debbie) Garant, Patricia Garant, Christine (David) Hannaford, Jan Garant, and Jeffrey (Ang) Garant. Dear grandfather of Sean, Matthew, Tara, Lauren, Amber, Grace, Nicholas, Madison and 5 great Grandchildren. Visitation Wednesday 3-9 pm at the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial Thursday in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan
