Rema Staples' Obituary
Beloved wife of Thomas whom she wed December 23, 1949, in Highland Park. Dear mother of Ric (Sandra) Staples and Greg (Terry) Staples. Loving Grandmother of Amanda (Tony) Black, Eric W. Staples, and Nicole (Kevin) Wieneki. Cherished Great Grandmother of Tyler Ethen Black. She is also survived by her sister Sylvia Jeffcoat and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by parents Rollie and Elsie and brothers Joe, Laymond and Virgil. Mrs. Staples was a Charter Member of Madison Heights Fellowship Baptist Church and served as their General Secretary for more than 25 years. She enjoyed reading, sewing, and being a homemaker. Gathering Wednesday 11:00 AM, with Funeral at 12:00 Noon at the Madison Heights Chapel with Pastor Robert Bowes officiating. Burial in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy. Donations to Beaumont Hospice, at 3601 W. 13 Mile Road, Royal Oak, Michigan 48073.
