Raymond E. Wanttaja, Madison Heights, March 23, 2018, age 93. Ray was born Feb. 13, 1925 in Baraga, MI, to John and Lydia Wanttaja.
Beloved husband of Pearl; loving father of Alan, Marsha (Richie Mohammed), Gary, Roger, and Randy (John Saetta) Wanttaja; and grandfather of Jonathan. He was predeceased by his sister Alice (Brian) Miettinen. He was a proud World War II Navy veteran.
Visitation Sunday 3-9pm, with the funeral service at 5:30pm, at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights (1 block North of 13 Mile Road, West side of John R. Road).
