Raymond Paul Robinson's Obituary
Raymond Paul Robinson, age 83 of Warren, Michigan passed away peacefully on January 11, 2020 at his home. He was born on April 21, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan to Ralph and Elizabeth Robinson.
He was better known as Paul to his family and friends.
Paul married the love of his life Brenda Ruth Ellis on January 26, 1957. His love and devotion to her was one of gentle care. He was a gentle man who thought she was priceless.
Together they had three children Michael Paul Robinson (Mona), Sharon Ruth Turner (Bruce) and Rodney Ralph Robinson. As his family grew to 8 grandchildren: Michael Jr., Amber, Angela, Christopher, Courtney, Madalynn, Rodney, Jr., Raymond and 10 great grandchildren.
He retired from General Motors after 33 years of service.
Paul served his local church as a Sunday school teacher and on the finance a committee, clerk and treasurer. He was ordained as a deacon as well.
Paul’s heart and ministry lead him to care for the elderly, shut-ins and hospital and nursing home visitation. His love and service to them was one of deep dedication. He loved the elderly.
He is Loved and missed terribly. We rejoice in knowing he is resting in the arms of our savior. His reward is a Great one of jasper walls and bright golden avenues. He made it home.
Visitation will be held on January 15th at Encounter Church of God of Prophecy, 600 N. Campbell Road, Royal Oak, Michigan 48067 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Home Going Service at 7:00 pm officiated by Pastor Willie Berry. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 16th at 10:00 am at the church. The Service will be officiated by Bishop James R. Ellis and Special Guest Speaker, Bishop Charles Pentecost Burial will be at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Mt. Clemens, Michigan.
