Raymond Dobkowski's Obituary
Raymond Dobkowski passed away on January 3, 2020 at the age of 86. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary, his stepson Gary Youngblood, stepdaughter Carol (John) Porter, and brother Edward. He is survived by his daughter Sandra, stepdaughter Linda (Kerry) Mayer, stepson David (Maureen) Youngblood, sister Lorraine Roy, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Raymond was a proud veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and a UAW member. After his wife’s death, Raymond found comfort in his family, church, and his dog Chewy. He will be greatly missed by all. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights, Michigan. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 8th beginning at 9:45 am Instate followed by a 10:15 am Funeral Mass at St. Louise de Marillac Church, 2500 Twelve Mile Road, Warren, Michigan. Burial will be at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
