Ralph Bennett's Obituary
Ralph “Lee” Bennett, age 64, loving husband of Peggy Bennett, joined his heavenly father on Thursday, February 9, 2012. Lee was a Vietnam Veteran who proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Lee leaves behind his mother and father, Opal and Bob Esson; daughters, Debora Jasinski and Rhonda Hypio (Andy); grandchildren, Hannah and Jacob Jasinski; nephews, Adam and Scott (Sarah) Bennett, in addition to many other wonderful family members and faithful friends. His brothers, Gary and Robert Bennett, step-brother, Bill Esson, and step-sister, Mary Lou Fobear, predeceased him. Lee was a very talented massage therapist and home remodeler. He bravely fought his cancer for over 11 years, using natural and alternative methods. His knowledge of natural medicine astounded most of the doctors he came in contact with. We all looked up to him for his great mind and caring ways as he helped those who sought alternatives. We will all miss his smile, knowledge and compassion for others. Visitation on Sunday, February 12th from 2:30 pm to 8 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R, Madison Heights, with a prayer service at 7 pm. Burial on Monday at Great Lakes Cemetery, Holly, Michigan. Memorials suggested to Disabled American Veterans.
