Philip Christopher Brown's Obituary
Philip Christopher Brown, age 33, of Sterling Heights, Michigan passed away on March 10, 2024. He was born on February 15, 1991 in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Beloved son of Christopher and Mary Brown. Dear brother of Riley (Cortney) Brown and adored uncle of Adrian, Karis, and Zane. Dear brother of John (Justine) Brown and adored uncle of Sterling and Harper.
Philip was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Philip Brown. He is survived by his parents, Chris and Mary Brown, his brothers Riley (Cortney) and John (Justine) Brown, his grandparents, John and Peggy Bryant and Dorothy Brown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Philip was known for his smile. It was contagious, kind, and welcoming. He was an amazing artist, talented graphic designer, and a gifted illustrator. Philip could freehand anything and everything. He used these God-given abilities to serve the church in many different ways, touching many lives, and pointing people back to the Creator of all things.
Philip was the greatest uncle any nieces or nephews could ask for. Whether it was celebrating birthdays, teaching painting lessons, building Legos or blocks, reading books, watching favorite shows, making funny faces, or beating them in Uno, Philip was a great uncle who loved his nieces and nephews, and they loved him too.
Over the last year and a half, Philip couldn’t say much, but when he could talk, his praying and singing was the clearest. Philip’s hope through life, especially the trials, was in His Savior, Jesus. Through this trial, Philip’s faith was refined and now his faith is sight. Philip’s hope, in life and in death, was Jesus alone. Philip’s confidence was that his soul belonged to Jesus who rescued Philip when he turned from his sin and trusted Jesus for salvation.
