Peggy Ann Armstrong's Obituary
Madison Heights - Peggy Ann Armstrong (Ketelhut), 77, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away at her home peacefully on March 24, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones, after a brief battle with cancer.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Jerry, children Tim (Teri) MacDonough, Tracy (MacDonough) Jones, and her little Shih Tzu Laddie. She will also be dearly missed by her grandchildren Angela, Adam, Frank, Megan, Josh, Whitley, Katelyn, Austin, Serenity, and Bailey, as well as her nine great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Leonard Lee and Josephine Ann (Ustaszewski) Ketelhut, brothers Leonard Ketelhut and Terry Ketelhut, her sister Barbara (Ketelhut) Deemer, and her daughter Debbie (MacDonough) Sparks.
Peggy was known for being a true force of nature, with an adventurous spirit and a lively personality that lit up any room she entered. She was wild and free-spirited, always eager to take risks and try new things. Her sense of humor was infectious, and her assertive nature was admirable. She had a love for country music and dancing that was impossible to miss, and she could often be found grooving to the beat. She also had a passion for fishing and being out in nature, reveling in the beauty and tranquility of the great outdoors. Above all, she was someone who truly enjoyed life and all that it had to offer, always living each day to the fullest. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Madison Heights Eagles, located at 604 W 11 Mile Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071 (her favorite place) this Sunday, April 2nd from 1:00-5:00.
