Paul Leslie Reddaway's Obituary
Paul Leslie Reddaway was born September 17, 1927 in Flint, Michigan. He was the oldest child of Leslie William Reddaway and Letitia Jane Colden. He had one sibling, his sister Vera Reddaway Frey.
At the end of World War II, Paul served in the US Army Signal Corps and was stationed in Germany in 1946. At the end of his time of service, Paul moved back to Michigan where he met Ruth Matthews. They were married on May 5, 1951 and had three children: Louise, Nancy, and Gary.
Paul and Ruth purchased their current home in Madison Heights in 1958, where they would both live for the rest of their lives. Since 1979, Paul and Ruth were faithful members of the Warren Woods Church of the Nazarene in Warren, Michigan.
Paul went home to be with the Lord early in the morning on Sunday, August 8, 2021. He is pre-deceased by his Loving Wife, Ruth and a daughter, Nancy Jenkins. He is survived by Louise (deceased, Val) Rose, daughter and Gary (deceased, Beverly) Reddaway, son. Grandfather of Diana, Maria, Jael, Luke, Judah, April, Josiah, and Benjamin and eleven great-grandchildren. Uncle of Greg Frey. Father in law of John Jenkins.

After Paul served in the army, he attended Eastman-Kodak School of Photography in Chicago, Illinois for 3 years. He was a self-employed photographer for many years in Flint and Oakland County. He was a hard working husband and father who was a great supporter and a great role model to his family.
Visitation will begin on Monday, August 27th from 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 pm, being officiated by Rev. Paul Thomas, at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block North of 13 Mile Road, West side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, 9506 N Dort Hwy, Mt Morris, MI 48458.
