Patricia Anne Marcotte's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we celebrate the life of a remarkable woman, Patricia Anne Marcotte, who lived 82 beautiful years—truly 82 years young.
She was the heart of her family: a devoted mother, a cherished sister, a proud grandmother, a loving great-grandmother, and even a great-great-grandmother. But to many, she was simply “Nanny”—a title she wore with unmatched pride and warmth. Her home was a place of comfort, laughter, and loud, unforgettable moments that will echo in the hearts of those who knew her.
She had a passion for life that showed in everything she did. Whether she was cheering (and yelling loudly) for her beloved Detroit Lions or filling a room with her voice and personality, she made sure her presence was always known—and always felt. Her laughter was contagious, her opinions were strong, and her love was even stronger.
She leaves behind a legacy not just of family, but of spirit—one defined by strength, humor, and a whole lot of volume. She taught those around her how to love fiercely, speak boldly, and never hold back.
Though she may no longer be with us, her voice, her energy, and her love will live on in every family gathering, every game day, and every memory shared.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
