Oliver Joseph Lagman's Obituary
Oliver Joseph Lagman, age 84 of Ferndale, Michigan passed away October 29, 2017 at Providence Park Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. He was born in Iron Mountain, Michigan on July 29, 1933 to Daniel and Dorothy Lagman. Oliver was a longtime resident of Ferndale, Michigan for over 40 years.
Beloved Husband of Georganna, they were married on February 19, 1954.
Dear Father of Joseph Lagman, John (Jackie) Lagman, and Sharon Soring. Grandfather of Robert, David, Stephen, Jonathan, Melissa. He is also survived by his siblings Daniel Lagman and Dotty Lou Doades. Great Grandfather of 8.
Oliver served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. He had worked in the Insurance Industry after retiring from the Air Force.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 31, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a service at 7:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R Road, Madison Heights (one block north of 13 Mile Road on the west side of John R Road). Burial will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 10:15 am.
