Nguyet Tran, age 79, passed away at home on December 2, 2017. She was born in Ben Tre, Vietnam on November 29, 1938 to Hai Tran and Bay To.
Bà Trần Thị Nguyện sinh năm 1938 tại Bến Tre, Việt Nam. Bà đã đi học tại Sài Gòn từ năm 1956 và sau đó tiếp tục làm việc tại Sài Gòn. Bà cùng chồng, là ông Phan Thanh Sử, đã di cư sang Mỹ theo diện HO và đã định cư tại Michigan từ năm 1992 đến nay. Bà Nguyệt ra đi ngày 2 tháng 12 năm 2017 để lại sự thương tiếc lớn lao cho chồng, dương nữ Trần Nguyễn Mỹ Linh, các em Trần Văn Thoại, Trần Văn Minh, Trần Thị Ánh Tuyết, Trần Minh Châu, Trần Văn Tuấn, Trần Văn Kiệt, và các cháu.
Mrs. Nguyet Tran was born in 1938 in Ben Tre, Vietnam. She attended school in Saigon in 1956. After graduation she worked in Saigon. With her husband, Mr. Su Phan, she emigrated to the United States through a Humanitarian Organization and lived in Michigan from 1992 until her death. Mrs. Tran died on December 2, 2017 and is survived by her husband, adoptive daughter My-Linh Tran, younger brothers Thoai Tran, Minh Tran, sister Tuyet Tran, brothers Chau Tran, Tuan Tran, Kiet Tran, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Friday, December 8th from 3 pm to 9 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R Road, Madison Heights (one block north of 13 Mile Road on the west side of John R Road). Instate 9:30 am with Funeral Mass at 10 am at St. Vincent Ferrera Catholic Church. Burial White Chapel Cemetery.
