Nellie L. Thompson, age 91 of Hazel Park, Michigan passed away on May 23, 2014 at her home. She was born on February 3, 1923 in Cassidy, West Virginia.
Beloved Wife of the late John Thompson. Dear Mother of Karen (Jimmy) Layne, Sandy (William) Godard, Johnny (Carol) Thompson, Jr., Bonnie (Steven) Stepke, Danny Thompson, Frances (Ronnie) Turner, Pamela (Ernie) Dearing, Tina (David) Allen, Scarlett Lucas, Shawn Potts and the late Robert. Survived by many Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren. She is survived by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, the Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 29th at 11:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R. Road, Hazel Park, Michigan. Burial to follow at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
