Nancy Jean McLean's Obituary
Nancy Jean Mclean. age 82, passed away June 16, 2025. She was born in Highland Park Michigan to Andrew and Helen Nagy.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Arnold) Smith, Michael (Deanna) McLean and Thomas McLean. Proud Grandmother to Lauren, Emily, Brendan, Melody, Ayrnne and Trevor. Survived by her brothers, Donald(Mary) Nagy, Ronald(Cyndi) Nagy, and Ricky(Kathy) Nagy. And many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard McLean. Her daughter Shari Blazejewski. And her grandson Erik Smith.
Nancy was a loving, caring and beautiful person who loved spending time with her family and friends. She had unconditional love for her family. She adored her grandchildren , nieces and nephews, who were all her pride and joy.
Her home was a constant gathering place, filled with love and laughter, and the aroma of a home cooked meal. With a door that was always open and a heart even more so. She created a space where everyone felt welcomed and cherished. Nancy enjoyed crocheting, cooking and Bingo. Her warmth, generosity, and joyful spirit will be missed by all who knew her. The loss of her will forever leave a hole in our hearts. She has been and will always be loved.

Visitation will begin on Saturday, June 21st at 12 noon and will continue until the time of the Funeral Service 5:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan.
Due to the ongoing construction on John R. Road, it is advised that those who plan on attending the services for Nancy J. McLean to turn onto Brush Street from 13 Mile Road to use our back entrance.
