Molly E. McVeigh's Obituary
Molly (Scott) McVeigh passed away in her home surrounded by family on July 11, 2024. She was born in Hazel Park, Michigan on August 29, 1930 to Chester and Ellen (Collier) Scott.
Molly was the Beloved Wife of Don McVeigh. They had recently celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary. She was the devoted Mother to Patti (Larry) Harreld and Barb (Marty) Jarrell, “adopted” Mom to Robin Herndon, proud Grandma to Ben (Susan) Harreld, Jeff (Taryn) Harreld, Andrew Jarrell, Greg (Laura) Harreld and Stephen Jarrell, loving Great-Grandma to Simon Harreld, Ellie Harreld, Winnie Harreld and Warren Harreld.
Molly worked for the Hazel Park School District until retiring in 1990 from the Webster Elementary School Library.
Until her passing, Molly was the oldest founding member of Tabernacle Baptist Church of Hazel Park where she had served in many ministries throughout the past eight decades. She Loved the LORD and her dear church family.
Molly will be missed dearly by her precious husband, loving family, friends and wonderful neighbors. We are thankful for the assurance we have in knowing we will see her again in Heaven.

Instate Visitation will be held on Monday, July 15th at 10:00 am with her Funeral Service at 11:00 am at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 22323 South Chrysler Drive, Hazel Park, Michigan 48030.
