Mildred Zeller's Obituary
At 93 years of age, our beautiful mother, mother-in law, grandmother and great-grandmother quietly passed on January 29, 2013. There is a quiet peace and tender sadness that surrounds her family as we say goodbye to this remarkable woman. Mildred (Mickey) was born November 15, 1919 in Hazen, Arkansas. She moved to Detroit, MI as a young woman to work. There she met the love of her life. Mickey married the love of her life, Raymond Koval Zeller on May 17, 1941. They were married 64 years. Together they had two children, Barbara Louise Seizert (Garry), Warren, MI and Raymond James Zeller (Paulette), Kaysville, UT. She dearly loved her five grandchildren, Garry Seizert, Steve Seizert, Patricia Mande (Vincent), Christine Krstich (Rick) and Mark Seizert (Jacinda). The great-grandchildren are Kelsey Seizert, Nicholas Krstich, Martino Mande and Koltin Krstich. They were added blessings to Mickey and Ray. She was preceded in death by her parents and all her brothers and sisters except for her dear sister, Fay Fortune. Fay shared her days with Mom at the Thornton Manor in Lansing, Ia. Mickey and Ray had a summer home for many years in Harpers Ferry, IA. Many happy memories were provided there for the entire family. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 2:00-5:00pm followed by a service at 5:00 at the Hopcroft Funeral Home at 31145 John R Rd, Madison Hts. MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
