Michael “MIKE” Lee Green, age 38 of Oak Park, Michigan passed away on February 28, 2025. He was born on December 3, 1986 in Fairfield, California.
Loving Son of James Sr. and Tracy Green. Beloved Partner of Leslye Farlow. Cherished Father of Bella, Griffin, Paizlye and Clayton. Brother of James (Brandy) Green, Jr., Christopher (Lindsay) Green, and Sabrina (Eric) Green. Uncle of Cameron, James III, Caiden, Celia, Berkley, Jackson, Kingston, Quinn, Ryder, Zoey and a nephew on the way. Grandson of James and Karen Layne and Johnny and Eileen Green. Son-in-law of Marian Farlow. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends.
Mike loved music, golf, and smoking meat. He graduated in 2005 from Ferndale High School. A superfan of the Detroit Lions and Tigers.
As a Journeyman Glazer in construction he was proud to be a part of building the Greektown Casino Hotel, McNamara Terminal, Detroit Train Station (Michigan Central Station), Little Ceasars Arena, IRS Building, Hudson Building, Ford Field, Somerset Mall and the Ren Cen.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan.
