Michael George Kapolka, age 84 of Madison Heights, Michigan passed away on July 11, 2023 at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan. He was born on September 30, 1938 in Portage, Pennsylvania to Albert and Christina Kapolka.
Beloved Husband of Helen Kapolka whom he married on May 28, 1960. Dear Father of John (Michele) Kapolka. Also survived by his Step-Grandsons, Colin and Evan Bruce. Brother of Joyce Christoff.
Mike served in the U. S. Army. He served on the Madison Heights Planning Commission for over 30 years.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 13th from 3:00 pm to 9:00pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. The Funeral will be held on Friday, July 14th beginning at 9:30 am Instate followed by the 10:00 am Funeral Mass at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 28353 Herbert Street, Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan.
