Michael John Haggerty's Obituary
Michael John Haggerty, known fondly as “Hags,” passed away peacefully in his sleep on the night of August 3, 2025, joining his beloved mother Joan, father Kenneth, and father-in-law Randall in heaven.
Michael leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion as a husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was married for 30 years to his cherished wife, Lainie Haggerty, with whom he shared a life filled with laughter and love. As a proud father to four sons—Chris, Michael (Allison), Dylan, and Alec—and a devoted Papa to his grandchildren, Grayson, Madison, and Harper, Michael’s family meant the world to him.
Michael is also survived by his siblings, Ken (Toni), Marie (Pat) Baker and Lori (Allan) Schneck; numerous nieces and nephews; his loving mother-in-law; and several brothers- in-laws and sisters-in-laws who considered him a close and cherished part of their lives.
A gregarious and strong man, Michael was always surrounded by friends and family. His generous spirit and willingness to help others knew no bounds. Whether lending a hand or offering words of wisdom, Michael made those around him feel valued and loved. He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him, especially by his loyal puppy, Frank the Tank, who was a constant companion by his side.
