Michael Leonard Brenton, age 77 of Madison Heights, Michigan passed away on July 25, 2015 at his home. He was born on February 1, 1938 in Hazel Park, Michigan.
Beloved Husband of Joanne “Jodi” (maiden Hyde) Brenton. Dear Father of Tammie (Charles, Jr.) Hill, Margaret “Marge” Browne, Michele (Brian) Felton, Carol (Alan) Shulgon, Sharon Sinclair and Cheryl (Timothy) Elswick. Grandfather of 16 and Great-Grandfather of 15. Brother of Sharon O’Brien and Rinda Brenton.
Michael retired as a Sergeant from the Madison Heights Police Department in 1988.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 27th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the Funeral Service on Tuesday, July 28th at 11:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block North of 13 Mile Road, West side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Pastor David Knox will officiate. Burial will be at Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak, Michigan.
