Maxine Sheridan's Obituary
Maxine Sheridan, age 97, of Warren, formerly of Hazel Park, passed on November 15, 2016. She was born November 25,1918, in Martinsville, Illinois. Beloved wife of the Late Marvin (1974), they were married, January 11, 1935. Loving mother of: Mary Mortagne and Donna Clute and the Late Roseanna Cheek. Grandmother of 13, Faith, Cindy, David, Karen, Kevin, Kenny, Peggy, Mike, Andy, Doug, Michelle, Kristen and Christopher. 31 Great Grandchildren and 33 Great, Great Grandchildren. Like she used to say, “counting in-laws and outlaws, there were one hundred and one.
Grew up on a farm in Illinois, she drove trucks in convoys during WWII, She crocheted lap robes for nursing home residents and was a nursing home nurse’s aide. She enjoyed Square Dancing, hunting, fishing and dressing up on Holloween, to pass out candy.
Visitation: Thursday, 3 to 9 PM at Hopcroft Funeral Home, Hazel Park Chapel. Service: Thursday. 7 PM at funeral home. Pastor Josh McDonald, officiating.
Burial Saturday, 10:00 AM at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Martinsville, Illinois
