Mary Catherine Williams, age 72 of Madison Heights, Mich. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at her home on May 29, 2011. Mary was born on November 4, 1938 in Detroit, Mich.
Mary is survived by her husband of 53 years, Leonard E. “Buster” Williams. Mother of Michael (Rita), Cynthia (Joe), Jeffrey and Kevin (Aimee). Grandmother of Thomas, Kristy, Stacey (Jalen), Danielle, Rachel, April, Leslie, Ryan and Abby. Great-Grandmother of Jayan and Dejhon. Sister of Loretta Young. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She is pre-deceased by a sister, Margaret Tice and a brother, Clarence McLellan.
Visitation on Tuesday from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm and Wednesday from 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R., Madison Heights, Mich. Funeral on Thursday, 9:30 am Instate followed by 10:00 am Mass at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, Madison Heights, Mich. Burial at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Mich. Memorial Donations to Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
