Mary Jayne Viecelli's Obituary
On February 7, 2026 our dear Mary Jayne Viecelli went home to the Lord. She was born on January 12, 1940.
She was predeceased by the love of her life, Allen Peter Viecelli. She was predeceased by her parents, Vincent and Mary Murphy; her brother, John David Murphy, Sr. (surviving, Audrey) and survived by her brother-in-law, Arlen Viecelli (Kathy). She was loved by many nieces and nephews along with extended family and many friends.
She was willing to help and do for others and everyone.
She was proud of her graduation from Oakland Community College with her nursing degree specializing in kidney dialysis. She cared for her patients as if they were family. She retired loving what she accomplished in her field.
Her hobbies were quilting, knitting, reading and watching Blue Bloods. She enjoyed going out to eat but was happiest being at family parties, and being with people having a good time.
Mary’s favorite vacation was when she and Allen went to Myrtle Beach.
She was proud to be a devout Catholic, her Irish heritage and her graduation from OCC. She always felt her proudest moment was her wedding day.
We will all miss you, think of you often, and love you till we meet again.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm with the Funeral Service at 2:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan.
