Mary Roberts' Obituary
Mary Ellen Roberts, age 105 a resident of Hazel Park since 1941 passed away on November 14, 2012 at home. She was born November 30, 1906 in Houghton Le Springs, England.
Mary was a member of the Board of Canvassers with her husband and had many accomplishments for the City of Hazel Park which included a new ambulance. She served as a Girl Scout Leader and a member of the Hazel Park Youth Protection Committee, sewed and dressed Goodfellow dolls, and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
Beloved wife of the late Kenneth (May 1986). Dear mother of Elizabeth (the late Jack) Truelove, Violet (Russel) Fuller, Beverly (Roy) Fox and the late Richard Roberts. Grandmother of 9 and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation Sunday 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Funeral service Monday 11:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R. Road, Hazel Park, Mich. Burial Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley, Mich.
