Mary Lukas' Obituary
Mary F. Lukas, age 86 of Roseville, Mich. She passed away on June 9, 2011 at Mt. Clemens Regional Medical Center, Mt. Clemens, Mich. Mary was born on Sept. 4, 1924 in Paducah, Kentucky.
Mary was formerly of Hazel Park (1940 - 1963) and Clinton Township (1963 - 2000). She was a member of the East Detroit Eagles for over 50 years.
She is survived by her children, Mary “Cookie” Karvinen and Charles LeRoy Cope. Grandmother of 4, great-grandmother of 16 and great-great-grandmother of 8. Special friend of Lou Gizzi.
Mary is pre-deceased by her husbands, Charles Cope and John Lukas and a grandson.
Visitation Thursday, June 16 from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Funeral service at 7:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R. Road, Hazel Park, Mich. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charity of donor's choice.
