Mary E. Kincannon's Obituary
Mary E. Kincannon, age 82 of Troy, Michigan passed away suddenly on August 17, 2025 at her home. She was born on December 16, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Steven and Cecile Kubat.
Beloved Wife of the late Ronald Kincannon. Mary is survived by her sons Jim (Patti) Hickman and Chuck (Colleen) Hickman, loving grandsons Charlie, Jon and Jeff, brother John (Pete) Kubat and nephew, Steven Kubat.
Mary was a long time Troy resident and retired from Bank of America. Her husband was a U.S. Army Veteran and at one time they were very active members of the Clawson American Legion where Mary was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family. She looked forward to hosting the December family birthday party every year as well as Christmas Eve. She enjoyed traveling up north, especially for the annual family vacation to Houghton Lake. One of her favorite places was the casino and she visited Las Vegas many times, loved the bus trips with her girlfriends to many casinos throughout Michigan, and weekend trips to Caesars Windsor. Mary was a big Detroit Tigers fan and watched all their games without fail.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21st from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the Funeral Service on Friday, August 22nd at 11:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. The burial will be at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
