Mary Alice Hollaway, age 88 of Hazel Park, Michigan passed away on May 14, 2024 at home. She was born on June 8, 1935 in LaGrange, Georgia.
Loving Mother of Deborah (deceased), Dellmon Hollaway (deceased), Margaret Hawk (spouse Dr. William), Donna Martin and Eric Hollaway (spouse Shelley). Dear Grandmother of Eric Lucas (spouse Digna), Jimmy Lucas (spouse Anna), Belinda Brewer (spouse Shane), Suzy Arbuckle, Jimmy Power, David Martin, Scott Martin, Travis Taylor (spouse Kelly) and Hailey Taylor. Great-Grandmother of Courtney Pike, Jas Walker, Lauren Lucas, Anna Lucas, Destiny Norwood (spouse Jennifer), Dawson Pointdexter, Reese Taylor, Neelie Kindt and Nicholai Kindt. Great-Great-Grandmother of Jagger Norwood. Mary is survived by her nephew whom she considered a son, Norman Adams (spouse Becky). She is predeceased by all her siblings, Willie East, Otis East, Katherine Carr, Ralph East and Jerry East.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 19th from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the Funeral Service on Monday, May 20th at 11:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial will be at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
