Mary “Emily” Shindel, age 88 of Ferndale, Michigan passed away on October 4, 2021 in Bloomfield Township, Michigan. She was born on January 4, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan to John and Florence Clouse.
Beloved Wife of the late Richard Shindel. Dear Mother of Lawrence Shindel, Elaine (Eric) Klaus and Mary Ellen (Paul) Shuffett. Grandmother of Celeste Shindel and Valentine Shindel. Great-Grandmother of Dominic. Sister of Gerald (Bernadine) Clause, Robert (Kim) Clouse and pre-deceased by her brother, Clarence Clouse. Mary is survived by her sister-in-law, Juliana Rose Clouse.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 8th from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Saturday, October 9th from 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block North of 13 Mile Road, West side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial will be at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
