Mary Cepuran's Obituary
Mary was born on April 22, 1926 in the Selo of Dugace Bosiljevo, Croatia (Yugoslavia) to Joseph and Ljuba (Korenic) Barcich. In 1936 she immigrated to America with her brother Vincent and mother to join her father to forever live in Michigan. She passed away on July 18, 2019 in Troy, Michigan.
She married Peter whom she shared 46 years of marriage and gave life, love and spirit to three children, Carol Cepuran, Michael Cepuran and Vivian Siismets (Arvo), and grand children Erica and Adam. She is predeceased by her parents, brother Vincent (Mildred) and beloved husband Peter, sisters in law Anna Lunn (Cepuran) and Mary Bucar (Cepuran) She had many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada whom she loved and admired.
She was taught by example to love God, her family and everyone she met. All the bounties of a life well lived followed her until she took her last breath. She died peacefully in her sleep just as she always asked God to allow.
Services will be held Friday, July 26th, Instate at 10:00 am with the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at St. Lucy Croatian Catholic Church, located at 200 E. Wattles Road, Troy, Michigan 48085.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to St. Lucy Croatian Catholic Church.
