Mary Ann “Annie” Lafler, age 98, a 72 year resident of Ferndale, Michigan passed away on November 28, 2011 at Seasons Hospice - Sinai Grace, Detroit, Michigan. She was born November 9, 1913 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Mary Ann is pre deceased by her husband, William Lafler (1979) and a daughter, Lura Misener.
She is survived by her children, William (Sandra) Lafler of Kalamazoo, Michigan; Karen (Robert) Szymanski of Warren, Michigan and Leo (Margaret) Lafler of Ferndale, Michigan. Mother in law of Charles Misener of Madison Heights, Michigan. Grandmother of 16. Great-Grandmother of 28. Great-Great-Grandmother of 4. Sister of Irene Gorlitz.
She was loved by everyone who knew her.
Visitation on Friday from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Funeral service Saturday at 11:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial at Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley, Michgian. Memorial donations may be made to Seasons Hospice, 27355 John R. Road, Suite 100, Madison Heights, Michigan 48071.
