Martin "Pappy" Hite SR, age 71, of Hazel Park Michigan passed away March 10, 2014. He was born April 17, 1942 in Turkey Creek Kentucky to Burbon and Eunice Hite.He married JoEllen Blackburn on April 17, 1963. Martin retired from the tool and die industry after 50+ years. Beloved husband of JoEllen Hite. Dear father of Deborah Segler, Martin Jr. (Carrie MacKenzie), Pamela (David) Chiu and Tim (Rachel Christianson) Hite. Loving grandfather to Reva, Cody, Joshua and Hannah. Dear brother of Cletis (Thelma) Hite of Hazel Park, MI, Polly Thacker of Ypsilanti Michigan and Tommy (Brenda) Hite of Pikeville Kentucky. Uncle to many nieces and nephews that loved him so much.Visitation will be held Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 1pm to 9pm. Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 14, 2014 at 11am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R, Madison Heights, MI 48071. Burial at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, MI.
