I met her as a child when my friend Sharon and I and our sisters would go into the bar in Detroit to see her dad on Fridays. It would be fish night and Marlen (or as I called her mother) would be eating fish and playing cards with her friends. I grew up to marry one of her son's named Steven and even after Steven's death we remaind very close. She was always there for me and I was always there whenever she needed me. I loved her like a second mom. We even went on a trip to visit a friend in Ohio and went to sea world and had such a good time together. To her I always remaind her daughter in law and to me she was always my second mother. I love her so much. Now that her heart has stopped,my life will never be the same. A part of me died with her and yet a part of her will always live in me ,and I know ill see her again very soon.
