Mark Norman Hall's Obituary
Mark Norman Hall, age 59, passed away on October 10, 2024. He was born in Dearborn, Michigan on January 13, 1965.
Loving Husband of Elizabeth (Betsy) Hall for 29+ years and proud father of Grant, Drew and Lauren. Mark was preceded in death by his parents Caroline and Billie Hall and his brother Matthew Hall. He is survived by his siblings Mary K. Bieniek and Carrie Hall-Schalter.
He was a graduate of St. Alphonsus High School and a Journeyman of the Local Union 687 of Detroit & Metro Area United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. He previously worked at Slavic Butcher and Becker and George P. Johnson for many years.
In his youth, Mark traveled the country playing pool at various pool halls and thoroughly enjoyed reminiscing on the stories he brought back. He loved spending time with his family and was well-renowned for his “dad” jokes. Mark enjoyed working with his hands on various projects and spending time walking with his dog Rudy and later his children’s dogs Scout and Remy. He was happiest making memories with his family and could regularly be seen (or heard) at his children’s sporting events when they were younger.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, MI 48071 on Tuesday, October 15th. The Funeral Mass will be held at Guardian Angels Catholic Church at 11:00 am with Instate at 10:30 AM located at 581 East 14 Mile Road, Clawson, MI 48017 on Wednesday, October 16th.
