Marion was a wonderful friend to me, my husband and our autistic daughter. We met many years ago at Guardian Lutheran Church in Dearborn. We were there at a meeting/discussion regarding camp options for special needs people. Our girls have attended Special Friends Camp ever since. Marion and I attended church retreats and a lot of special events at area churches together. We had dinner together once a month and enjoyed our time together. I loved to hear her stories about her dad immigrating to the US, her family life and her time spent as a bus aide with disabled children. We’ll never forget Marion.
