Marilyn Solomon's Obituary
Marilyn F. Solomon, age 77, resident of Hazel Park for over 53 years. She was born in South Bend, Indiana and passed away in Madison Heights, Michigan. Wife of the late Cleo J. Solomon (June 7, 1995) whom she married on June 8, 1951 in Port Huron, Michigan. Mother of Gary Solomon, Richard (LeeAnn) Solomon, Lori (Randy) Helton, and Charles Solomon. Grandmother of Gary “Johnny” (Shelby), Christina and Cameron. Great-Grandmother of Tyler and Olivia. Sister of Rose Marie Fields, Wendell Collver, Janise Augsbury and two pre-deceased brothers.
She was an awesome cook and was very crafty. She retired from Oakland General Hospital after more than 17 years.
Visitation Thursday (1/24/2008) 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R. Road, Hazel Park. Funeral Service Friday (1/25/2008) 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Burial Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak, Michigan.
