Lyla Mae (Rinnan) Klobucher, age 96, of Hazel Park Michigan, passed away on December 26th, 2022. She was born in 1926, in Calumet, MI.
She is survived by her sons Larry (Vicki Martin) Johnson, Edward G. (Diane) Klobucher, and Scott A. (Lia) Klobucher, as well as seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Edward, and siblings Clarence, Martin, Roy, June, James, and Al.
She worked for Hazel Park Schools for many years as a special education paraprofessional, teaching children to read, a job she was very proud of. Prior to that, she worked for Bell Telephone and ran a small business. She enjoyed solving puzzles, especially crosswords, and she was avid sports fan, closely following the Detroit Lions and the Detroit Tigers. Most of all, she enjoyed visiting with her family.
At her request, there will be no visitation or service. In lieu of flowers or donations, the family requests that those who wish to honor Lyla’s memory, simply do something nice for someone they love.
