Lucy Proffitt's Obituary
LUCY R. PROFFITT nee DEERING, age 94, of Warren, passed on October 8, 2012, at Wm. Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She was born in Henry Co., Tennessee, Aug. 10, 1918. Beloved wife of Herbert Proffitt, loving mother of James (Linda) Deering and Judith (Steve) Overstreet. Also survived by sister Nelda (Odell) Hopkins, 5 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. A member of Hazel Park Church of Christ, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Visitation will be held Thursday, 3-9 at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R Road, Hazel Park. Service, Friday at 11:00 A.M. at funeral home.
