Louis "Louie" H. Coddington's Obituary
Louis “Louie” H. Coddington went home to be with the Lord on August 9, 2020 at the age of 80. He was born in Rochester, MI and grew up in Royal Oak, MI. Louie is the son of Harvey and Ethel Coddington. He is the brother of Mel, Don, Rodger, Mike, Bill, Geraldine (Geri), the late Ernie and the late Henry.
Louie had many friends; some he still hung out with from elementary school. He worked at Yankee Screw Products for 40 years, then at Color Coat Plating for 14 years. His hobbies included spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, camping, and cruising Woodward in his 65’ Ford Galaxie with his wife and daughter. He was a loving and caring husband and father, and a dedicated hard worker. The Lord brought him through many challenges including a kidney transplant. But it was this bout of squamous cell cancer that was his biggest battle and inevitably took his life.
He is survived by his wife Wanda Sue; son David (Debbie Masch) Coddington; daughter Christie (Brandon) Valuet; and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
