To Lou's family: we were very shocked and saddened to hear Fr. Duane announce Lou's sudden passing, from the pulpit at our special Dome Rededication Mass on September 21. We had just seen Lou hours before, working on our church property to ready the place for guests! Lou was a great guy, straight-forward and a great presence at St. Matthew as a faithful usher. He was kind to our kids. He was funny. We will miss him greatly and we pray for him and all of you at this difficult time. We hope that you will consider holding Lou's memorial service at St. Matthew Church, where many parishioners would be honored to help care for Lou at his time of death.
