GRAHAM, LOUIS MONROE, age 94 of Madison Heights, died March 10, 2010. He was born November 10, 1915 in Grahamsville, Kentucky. Loving husband of the late Essie for 62 years. Dearest father of Barbara Lou Godsey. Dear grandfather of Brian Lou Godsey and Brenda Lyn (Todd) Paye; great grandfather of Courtney, Sean, Jason, Sarah, Graham, Emily, Rebecca, and Samuel; great great grandfather of Christian, Riley, and Landon; brother of Carlton (Ellen) Graham of KY; and cousins David (Cathy) Graham and Steve (Sune) Houston. He was retired from the City of Hazel Park’s Department of Public Works. He also played professional baseball for the Pittsburg Pirates in the 1930’s. Donations can be made to the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Hazel Park. Visitation Sunday 3-9 pm with the funeral Monday at 11 am, at the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Rd., Madison Heights. Burial in Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak.
