Lois Ellen Sleziak's Obituary
Lois Pollack Sleziak, née Provence, passed February 14, 2015. She was born November 21, 1930 in Clinton, IN and moved to Detroit, MI in May of 1943, then moved to Bradenton, FL in 1985.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Sleziak. She is survived by her 3 children: Ellen, David and Bethanne, and 3 step-children: Edward II, Steven and Beverly. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She worked for 54 years as an office secretary, starting when she was in high-school. Her hobbies included: bowling, needlework, playing cards, cross word puzzles, and dominos. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, the VP for the Palm Lake Estates Women’s Coffee Club, a member of Yack and Yarn Club, and a member of the Ladies Red Hat Club. She spent time working with troubled teens in a nearby city.
