Linda Sue Dorton, age 79 of Warren, Michigan passed away on August 10, 2025 at Corewell Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan. She was born on December 11, 1945 in Clinton, Indiana to James and Anna Wilfong.
Beloved Wife of the late Joe Dorton. Dear Mother of Kimberlee (the late Larry) Gavin and Susan (Theron Carlson) Dorton. Loving Grandmother of Latress London, Laura Gavin, Larry Gavin, Jr., and Chastity Henson. Great-Grandmother of Ava Gavin. Her Bonus Daughter, Brigitte House. Sister of Jim Wilfong, Nancy Davis, Donna Arnold, Debbie Wilfong, Terri Arducant and predeceased by siblings Janice Geer and Randy Wilfong. Survived by many nieces, nephews and a special family friend, Penny Moore.
Linda was a resident of Warren for 31 years and she enjoyed her home there. She enjoyed watching basketball and always helping people, especially the elderly.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14th from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, the Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 15th at 11:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Burial will take place at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
