Lillie Screws' Obituary
Lillie M. Screws, 95, of Hazel Park, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, in Madison Heights. She was born July 11, 1912, in Boaz, Alabama. Mrs. Screws was predeceased by her husband, Bess Screws; children, Billie Screws and Charles Screws; and brother, Paul Sanders. Surviving are three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a sister, Kate Wells of Tennessee. Visitation, 2-5p.m. and 7-9p.m. today at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R., Madison Heights; service, 11a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Mary Ellen Chapman officiating; burial at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery, Troy.
